William Mills (18 JUL 1824 - 27 FEB 1918) moved to Avon Lake, Ohio, in 1895 to live with his son, Simeon Woodrow, and daughter-in-law Maggie Flannigan Mills, where he lived until 1907 or 1908, when he went to live with his daughter, Sarah. Mills served with the Federal Army at Fredericksburg, VA, in December 1862, and then in a battle known as the Mud March in January 1863.
