Description	Editorial cartoon by Willard Combes depiciting Mayor Thomas Burke sawing a log marked "Lake Front." There are five other logs depicted with the words "Rat Control" "Housing for Servicemen" "Jobs for Soldiers" "Police" "Garbage and Rubbish Collection" and "Post War Construction" on them. There is a dog in the foreground saying "He's got plenty to do!" and Moses Cleaveland behind Mayor Burke saying "Keep right on sawing, Tom!" The cartoon is probably on a singletone drawing board, although it is not marked as such. This cartoon was published in The Cleveland Press on August 1, 1945.
