Sheppard Murder Case
Courtrooms
DescriptionJudge Edward Blythin presides over the trial. He told Dorothy Kilgallen, a prominent journalist from New York City, that he felt that Sam Sheppard was guilty. The conviction against Sheppard was overturned in a 1966 ruling from the Supreme Court (Sheppard v. Maxwell) that said that he allowed a media circus to occur, which led to an unfair and biased trial.
