Diamond historic district
DescriptionThe Soldiers' Monument or the "Roving" Sentinel was erected in the Diamond in 1890. In 1909 it was removed to the City Park. Seven years later in 1916 it was relocated to the front of the Carnegie Library. In 1942 it was finally moved to the Riverview Cemetery where it stands today.
