Two girls, dressed almost identically, stand in front of a stove with a metal pot and cooking utensils. They look happy in sweaters, pearls, and plain dresses. An old fashioned gas stove is the center of their attention. These girls were students at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1939.
