DescriptionLooking north along the Rocky River Valley towards the Rocky River Bridge. The 700 foot concrete span bridge was designed by Wilbur Watson and built by the Schillinger Brothers Construction Co. in 1910. It featured a 280 ft. central arch of unreinforced concrete, then the longest of its type in the world. This bridge was replaced by a new bridge and demolished in 1981.
