	13118 Detroit Avenue - Garfield School Identifier lhg6701 Title 13118 Detroit Avenue - Garfield School Description On May 26, 1967, the Garfield School PTA presented the school a plaque commemorating its location at 13118 Detroit Ave. as the site of the first log schoolhouse in Lakewood. Present at the cermony are Donald Lee, retiring principal of Garfield and Mrs. Robert Ross, former PTA president. Building was demolished in 2005.
