DescriptionDuring the Fourth of July festivities at Lakewood Park a deadly squall line swept across Lakewood and Northeastern Ohio. Uprooted trees fell on buildings, cars, and people. While the only loss of life occurred in Lakewood Park the storms caused widespread property destruction across the region including damage done by a fallen tree to an Oldsmobile parked on the 12000 block of Clifton Blvd.
