| Description | A poster drawn of the two largest people on earth, Mr. and Mrs. Bates. After traveling Europe and appearing a variety of shows across the country, the Captain Bates and his wife settled in Seville, Ohio, located in Medina County, where they built a large house. It had been said that the Bates were very well off, and the Captain would often carry gold with him. Treasure was also suspected of being present on the Bates homestead. |
