Description"The Cuningham Sanitarium under the direction of Dr. O. J. Cunningham, is located on Lake Shore Blvd. Patients are treated for diabetes, pernicious anemia, neuritus, asthma and high blood pressure in the great Health Tanks, all terminating in a common "air lock" or equalizing chamber through which one must pass in coming into or out of any of the tanks. The "rest" quarters are provided by a well equipped 3-story hotel connected directly with the air lock, and another connecting structure houses the air compressors and the heating conditioning equipment"--card verso.
