Description"Dr. Sam Sheppard, serving a life term for slaying his wife, is surrounded by newsmen as he enters the Ohio Penitentiary for test to determine if he has cancer. Sheppard, an osteopath from the Cleveland suburb of Bay Village, was one of 171 prisoners who volunteered to have live cancer cells injected into their bodies in a test to determine if cancer would develop and grow in a strong, healthy body.
