More than 500 employees and retired employees of the department stores joined the festivities. master of ceremonies was Max Schwartz, sales promotion manager. Pins were presented by Arthur Begam, store manager. Brief talks were given by David Geller, vice president, and Francis Coy, general merchandise manager. Gifts were presented by an alias Santa Claus, Alfred Morton.
