Description"LA986-1/14/51-LOS ANGELES, CALIF: Mac Speedie (84) American All-Star's right end, leaps in the air to snag a pass from quarterback Otto Graham. Woodley Lewis (30) defensive halfback of National All-Stars was unable to break up play which was good for 20 yards and a first down. Action in first quarter of first annual Professional Bowl game. Credit: (ACME TELEPHOTO)" -- photo verso. "Speedie overcame a debilitating bone disorder as a child that left him with one leg two inches shorter than the other. Speedie did not let the disease slow him down as he developed remarkable speed and the skill to change speeds and direction, which helped him in to become an outstanding end. Mac led the NFL in receptions in 1952, but left Cleveland after the season and finished his career in the CFL." -- from Cleveland Browns History by F.M. Henkel.
