Description"Clean-up day for the Hough area brought hard work to Cory Ave. Yards were cleaned and trash was piled for hauling. It was sponsored by Citizens for Better Housing, called Operation New Look Day, and kept 25 Cleveland city trucks busy. About 4000 families participated. Leaders were Margaret Carter and Mack Dille and five area chairmen." -- Cleveland Press newspaper, dated April 25, 1964.
