| Description | At the end of the gardening season every year, the Cleveland Public Schools gardening program held an awards program for Cleveland Public School students who had participated in the school gardening program. Various awards were given for different levels and years of participation. Here is some of the text on the last page of the program:
"To Parents: You and your children are to be congratulated on the excellent garden work you have done. This School Garden Program has been supported for 71 years by the Cleveland Board of Education.

Posters -- Blue ribbon winners from the 10th annual Children's Garden Fair
The Garden Center of Greater Cleveland, 11030 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106, has co-sponsored the School Garden Awards program with the Cleveland Public Schools for 40 years. We congratulate the outstanding student gardeners enrolled in the Cleveland Public Schools and Green Thumb Club Home and School Garden Program.
