A view of the Benjamin Franklin school tract garden with bicycle racks and and numbered garden pails on numbered shelves in the garden. Students took a pail into their garden to collect weeds and then emptied the contents of the pails into a large garden compost pile and then the pail was returned to the proper spot on the shelves. The baskets came from home and were used to take home vegetables from the gardens. These gardeners are finished for the day and are getting ready to ride home on their bikes.
