DescriptionShows a view of the railing and side of the bridge. The concrete on the side of the bridge is crumbling and shows deterioration. A 2-year renovation, completed in May 1969 at a cost of $6 million, included adding 2 additional traffic lanes by narrowing existing sidewalks from 15 to 5 ft. and cantilevering the new lanes outside the central arch.
