DescriptionBassett Elementary School in Westlake opened its doors to 210 boys and girls on January 4, 1968. The school is on a 10-acre site on the east side of Bassett Road, between Hilliard and Detroit Roads, and was the fourth elementary in the system. The $322,000 structure was designed by Lesko Associates. General construction was by Shirmer and Schneider.
