Bundy was a long-time employee of the Dept. of Recreation for the city of Cleveland. In May 1954, she became the Superintendent of Special Activities which focused on finding services and activities for inner city youth. Bundy was named Asst. Commissioner of Recreation in 1966. To honor her commitment to youth, a recreation center located at 2335 E. 82nd St. was named after her.
