AccomplishmentsAnna Perkins sold issues of the "Cleveland Press" for her livelihood, eventually earning her the moniker of "Newspaper Annie." She also advocated reform for women's dress and wrote the poem "What Is It?" Perkins also spoke at the Franklin and Sorosis Clubs frequently.
